This new built was made possible due to a change in zoning laws in Washington DC. The new zoning law allows for the building of an Accessory Dwelling Unit on lots in certain zones. This ADU is a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bathroom and consists of approximately 900 square feet of living space. Landscaping and grading was key to the success of this projkect.
